The whole door, not just the easy part
A garage door is a balanced mechanical system. The springs carry the weight, the cables transfer it, the rollers and tracks guide it, and the motor only ever nudges a door that is already balanced. When one of those is wrong, the symptom usually shows up somewhere else — which is why so many people are told they need a new motor when what they actually have is a fatigued spring. We test the door by hand before we blame anything electrical.
We are a fully mobile operation — no showroom, no workshop, no trade counter, and nowhere for you to drive to. Stocked vans work their own corridors of the metro, so the one that comes to you is the one already nearby rather than one dispatched across the city. Perth is over 120 kilometres end to end; anyone promising the same response in Baldivis as in Subiaco is not being straight with you, so we quote arrival honestly per suburb instead.
That covers the full spread of Perth's housing. The wide custom and timber-look doors of the western suburbs and the river, where a repair that works mechanically but looks wrong is not a finished job. The salt-eaten curtains, spring ends and fixings of the coastal belt. The rear-lane and heritage garages of Fremantle, Subiaco and Guildford, where headroom and planning decide the answer before anyone opens a catalogue. The heavy timber doors, steep driveways and storm blackouts of the Perth Hills. The near-new sectional doors filling the growth estates, which were built together and fail together. And the high-cycle shutters through Welshpool, Kewdale and Malaga, where a door that will not lift is a business that cannot dispatch.
Different housing, different failures — a door in Cottesloe corrodes from the inside out while its front face still looks perfect, a door in Kalamunda fights a gradient and a blackout, and a door in Rossmoyne simply wears out from doing five cycles a day for fifteen years. Writing one page for all of that would be writing nothing. That is why there is a page for each suburb we work in.
Every job starts with a free quote and ends with a door that is balanced, limits reset and the auto-reverse safety function tested. We don't publish prices, because the honest answer depends on your door — and we'd rather tell you a door isn't worth repairing than sell you a repair that won't last.

What we stand for
How we work
Genuinely 24/7
We answer and dispatch around the clock, every day of the year — not a call centre that takes a message and rings you back on Monday.
Diagnose, don't guess
Most 'dead motors' are a broken spring or a mis-set limit. We find the actual cause instead of replacing the most expensive part.
Every door, every brand
Sectional, roller and tilt — B&D, Steel-Line, Gliderol, Danmar, Taurean — plus Merlin, Chamberlain, ATA and Centurion motors.
Honest & upfront
A free quote before any work, no published prices, no surprises at the door — and an honest answer when a door isn't worth repairing.
Licensing & trust
Straight answers about licensing in WA
Here is something most Perth garage door sites will not tell you: there is no garage door trade licence in Western Australia. No such category exists. Builder registration through Building and Energy applies to building work above a value threshold that repairing or replacing a door on an existing garage does not come close to — so any company implying you need a specially licensed installer for a door swap is selling you reassurance rather than a fact.
Where licensing genuinely does apply is electrical. Adding a power point in your garage, or hard-wiring a motor, is electrical installation work that must be carried out by a licensed electrical contractor and certified accordingly. Plugging a modern motor into an existing power point is not. We tell you which of those two your job actually is, and if it needs a sparky we say so instead of quietly doing it ourselves.
